What is Real Value?

Wealth has traditionally been associated with money and affluence, with gold or property. However, it might be more enriching to our lives and our well-being to think of one's assets in a broader way: To define wealth as health, as the ability to have and make choices, as meaningful companionship of the two- and/or the four-legged kind, and as time to explore spaciousness and a sense of calmness, flexibility or freedom.

Curiously, the word origin of Wealth is from Middle English welthe  and modeled on (interestingly enough) health. To look at this from a different perspective, I was reading my personal journal from April 2020, and was reminded of so many unknowns as the pandemic deepened and collectively we wondered...if food and other personal supplies would be available? When would we be able to leave the house and under what circumstances? When could we socialize again, celebrate, or even gather in front yards or driveways to see our neighbors?

My intention in developing Lotus Bleu Yoga is to help others see beyond the material and into the deeper Self through movement, focus, community and respect.
